smart medication eHealth Solutions GmbH is a software company in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. We develop digital applications for healthcare – electronic patient diaries, collaboration platforms for treatment centers and pharmacies, and tools for studies, registries and market access – with a focus on rare chronic diseases such as hemophilia. Our roots lie in research at Philipps-Universität Marburg. Electronic diaries for people with hemophilia have been in use since 2012 and are used today by several thousand patients. The project received the MSD Gesundheitspreis at the German Federal Ministry of Health. Hosting and data storage take place on our own servers in Germany under the GDPR. Personal treatment data belongs exclusively to the patient and the treating physician; research analyses are performed only anonymized or pseudonymized and with the patients' consent.
